Layer Zero is governed by our members.

  • The easiest way to become a member is to make a monthly donation to our Open Collective.

  • Within the Layer Zero matrix space we have a room called Members Lounge.

  • Any member can propose an item in the Members Lounge. If no one objects, it automatically passes after one week. This way, if people are not strongly opposed to the idea, basic things get through pretty easily.

  • Members can vote on who is allowed to become a new member.

  • Members generally have keys to the space.

However, Layer Zero can't only be for members-- it's for everyone who's kind and respectful and wants to make the world a little better with computers. You don't need to be a member to attend most of our stuff and, even people who are not members are welcome to contribute to the space.
