here's what "do-ocracy" means to me, based on kbot's prompts.
Where you see do-ocracy in practice at LZ? (Ex. experiences, philosophy, aesthetics, memories, actions)
when people make installations such as:
-
olive's LED text sign
-
kbot's stereo upgrades
-
my wall monitor (originally for omnibus)
-
water dispenser
rearranging furniture seemingly every week. this is good, i like change.
people taking charge of tasks that have been sitting on the back burner for ages.
Know of do-ocracies at other hackerspaces? Any favorites or media or memes to share?
fsociety from Mr. Robot: hackers volunteering/delegating based on skill sets
do-ocracy is basically anarchism imo
How do you do? Literally, how do you do things? How do you know what to do and not do?
i know not to do things landlords generally don't like.
i know that if i don't like how something is currently, i am probably not the only one. if i make my case and there are no objections, i can go ahead and change it.
