Culture

Mellow Mondays

Monday nights are reserved for mellow, quiet vibes, where visual and written language are prioritized over spoken.

  • It is sensory-friendly to those with auditory processing needs, with low-to-no background noise where possible.

  • ASL tutoring, lessons, and practicing with peers

  • We aim to be more comfortable for those with voice discomfort, disability, or dysphoria, as well as listening difficulty, deafness, or discomfort.

  • The time also doubles as a great low-distraction time to quietly work on projects, art, space improvements, collaboration, and so on.
